Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Our staff take the time to consult patients about a multitude of conditions they may not even know they suffer from. Sleep Apnea affects a large portion of our population and most of those affected are not aware of their condition. Through some simple diagnostics, we can help you learn more about your overall health and make an appropriate recommendation.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea is where a patient’s airway constricts during sleep. This may be caused by multiple contributing factors. When this occurs, a decrease in oxygenated bloodflow to the brain sends messages to the subconscious to awaken the body to protect itself from hypoxia. These sleep disturbances can decrease daily function and effect the rest of your overall health.
